Green Day to play at Carson Daly's New Year's Eve
NEW YORK - Green Day already has New Year's Eve plans: They'll be ringing in 2010 with Carson Daly.
The punk-rock trio are slated to perform during "NBC's New Year's Eve with Carson Daly." The show is to air live from Times Square.
Daly says he's "beyond excited" to have the Grammy winners as his guests.
Green Day's latest CD "21st Century Breakdown" has sold over 800,000 copies.
