Following are the day’s biggest winners and losers. Find out why shares of IMS Health and Lamar Advertising popped while American Eagle and Whole Foods Market dropped.

POPS (stocks that jumped higher)

IMS Health (RX) popped 23%. Private equity firm TPG agreed to buy the company for $4 billion; the deal could be the largest leveraged buyout of the year. - That's a big pop, says Pete Najarian.

Lamar Advertising (LAMR) popped 15%. The ad company posted a smaller-than-expected loss in Q3 and projected revenues above analysts’ estimates. - I think it goes to 30.68, speculates Joe Terranova.

Sara Lee (SLE) popped 3%. The maker of bakery goods and more beat on earnings and announced a strategy to increase market share. - I'd wait for a 5% pullback, counsels Steve Grasso.

Joy Global (JOYG) popped 6%. This stock was a beneficiary of Goldman commentary, which said commodity prices should remain high and demand should pick up.

Aetna (AET) popped 2%. Investors bid shares higher despite reports that the House is expected to pass a health care reform bill over the week-end.

DROPS (stocks that slid lower)

American Eagle (AEO) dropped 12%. The teen retailer reported a larger than expected drop in same store sales for October; they also forecast third quarter earnings below estimates. - At current levels I think it's a buy against a 15.5 stop, says Guy Adami.

Whole Foods Market (WFMI) dropped 16%. The gourmet grocer issued an earnings outlook that missed the Street’s view; also a private equity firm announced plans to convert its stock, diluting shares.

CVS Caremark (CVS) dropped 20%. The drug store chain reported “big client losses” in its Caremark pharmacy business.
