Chartology: Top Tech Analyst On What's Next
She was among the very few technical analysts who predicted the market’s steep decline. We’re talking about Louise Yamada.
If you watch Fast Money regularly you might remember Yamada predicted the market mayhem long before it actually happened. It was February 6, 2008 when she told the desk "It looks as if we're in the midst of a structural sell-off the likes of which we haven't seen since 2000. We could be in for an extended bear market period."
That was over 6 months before the collapse of Lehman.
In fact, her predictions were so dire, we almost thought she was joking. But as it turns out Yamada was spot on – and the market action was anything but funny. (Click here to see her analysis on February 6th -- it's astoundingly accurate.)
So what do the patterns in the charts suggest to Yamada now. Watch the video and find out!
