Health Management Associates, Inc. to Present at the 2009 Credit Suisse Healthcare Conference

NAPLES, Fla., Nov 06, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Health Management Associates, Inc. (NYSE:HMA) announced today that its management will present at the 2009 Credit Suisse Healthcare Conference to be held November 11 - 13, 2009, at the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona.

HMA's management will give its presentation on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. MT. The presentation will be webcast live over the Internet via HMA's website (http://www.hma.com). Listeners are encouraged to go to the Investor Relations section of HMA's website approximately five minutes prior to the event to register and download any necessary media player software.
