Shelby Autos Returns to Sponsor NASCAR Sprint Cup Race at LVMS

LAS VEGAS, Nov 06, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Shelby Automobiles, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carroll Shelby International Inc. (Pink Sheets:CSBI), will return in 2010 as the sponsor of the NASCAR Sprint Cup event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Shelby teamed up with LVMS this past March for the Shelby 427. Next year's event on Feb. 28 will be called the Shelby American to honor the 45th anniversary of the Shelby G.T. 350 and 427 Cobra introductions in 1965.

March's race was known as the Shelby 427 and featured a 427-mile, 285-lap race.

The event will return to its traditional 400-mile, 267-lap distance in 2010.

The Sam's Town 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race is set for Saturday, Feb. 27.
