Earnings roundup: Chindex, Tesoro
Among the earnings stories for Monday, Nov. 9, from AP Financial News:
Chindex International Inc., which sells medical products in China, said its second-quarter profit fell as revenue remained flat and taxes rose.
Independent oil refiner Tesoro Corp. said its net income tumbled 87 percent as lower energy prices cut away at margins.
Liberty Media Corp., the conglomerate controlled by John Malone, posted a rise in third-quarter revenue at its two largest businesses, helped by better home-shopping sales and results from the Starz cable channels.
Industrial automation company Rockwell Automation Inc. said fiscal fourth-quarter profit fell 77 percent, as revenue dropped and the company recorded restructuring charges.
