Nov 09, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- GE Transportation (NYSE:GE): What: On the eve of Veterans Day GE Transportation will be honored with
the Patriot Award. The Patriot Award is bestowed by the U.S.
Department of Defense through its National Committee for Employer
Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). ESGR recognizes employers
who support a strong National Guard and Reserve force. Employers
qualify for recognition when they practice leadership and
personnel policies that support employee participation in the
Guard and Reserve. GE Transportation was nominated to receive the
award by one of its employees who serves in the U.S. Army Reserve.
