ISTANBUL, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Here are press reports, news and events that could affect Turkish financial markets on Tuesday. The lira was trading at 1.4730 against the dollar in early trade, compared with a close of 1.4730 on Monday. The yield on the Aug. 3, 2011 benchmark bond fell to 8.65 percent from Friday's close of 8.81 percent. The main share index rose 1.71 percent to 47,774.52. GLOBAL MARKETS Asian stocks rose on Tuesday after U.S. equities hit a 13-month high, while central banks intervened to curb Asian currencies as funds flowed into riskier assets on expectations economic stimulus measures will continue. Markets were buoyed by a 2 percent jump in the Dow Jones on Monday. Analysts said investors were encouraged by G20 finance ministers' pledge at the weekend to keep emergency measures in place until a recovery was assured, raising expectations for prolonged low interest rates. DOGAN TAX DISPUTE Turkish media mogul Aydin Dogan, who is embroiled in a dispute over a record tax fine, is to sell five of his newspapers to Germany's Axel Springer, Aksam daily reported on Tuesday. The newspaper did not specify a source for its report, but his media group Dogan Yayin said in late October it was seeking new partners or the sale of stakes in subsidiaries in the face of a 4.8 billion lira ($3.3 billion) tax fine. GARANTI BANK Garanti Bank, Turkey's most actively-traded stock, posted third-quarter net profit of 666.7 million lira ($453 million) on Monday, up 65 percent and just below a consenus forecast. The average forecast in a Reuters poll of 10 analysts was for net profit of 671 million lira for the lender, Turkey's second largest by market-value. CASH BALANCE Turkey's Treasury posted a cash surplus of 990 million lira ($672 million) and a cash primary surplus of 3.961 billion lira in October, it said in a statement on Monday. In September the Treasury posted a cash deficit of 12.87 billion lira and a cash primary deficit of 9.15 billion lira. The Treasury said tax revenue of approximately 3.9 billion accrued in September was received in October. TAV AIRPORTS HOLDING The airports operator says it signs a joint venture deal with Saudia Arabia's Al-Rajhi Holding on airport ventures. PETROL OFISI Petrol Ofisi, Turkey's biggest chain of gas stations, said on Monday its third-quarter net profit was 119.5 million lira ($81.3 million) versus 117.8 million lira in the same period of 2008. The company's sales dropped 23 percent to 4.06 billion lira in the same period. CURRENT ACCOUNT The Turkish Central Bank is scheduled to announce September current account balance figures (1400 GMT) on Tuesday. A Reuters survey showed last week the current account deficit is expected to fall to $300 million in September from $914 million in the same month last year. ENKA INSAAT Turkish construction company Enka Insaat is expected to announce its third-quarter results.
