ATHENS, Nov 11 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press reports and events which may affect Greek financial markets on Wednesday: GREECE'S PPC PROFIT SURGES; OUTLOOK WEIGHS Public Power Corp (PPC), Greece's biggest electricity producer, beat nine-month earnings forecasts on a sharply lower fuel bill, although investor caution on the state-backed company's outlook sent its shares lower. GREECE'S FRIGOGLASS 9-MONTH PROFIT FALLS 82.8 PCT Greek refrigerator maker Frigoglass said on Wednesday nine-month net profti fell 82.8 percent year-on-year as the global economic downturn hit demand for the firm's coolers in Europe. MOTOR OIL Q3 NET PROFIT SEEN DOWN 16 PERCENT Motor Oil, Greece's second-biggest refiner, is expected to post a 16 percent fall in third-quarter net profit, hurt by narrower refining margins, according to a Reuters poll of analysts. The company will report results after 1520 GMT. MYTILINEOS SEEN TURNING TO PROFIT IN Q3 Mytilineos, a Greek metals group expanding into energy, is expected to cross into profit in the third quarter despite weaker revenues, a Reuters poll showed. S&B 9-MONTH NET DROPS 76.5 PCT TO 3.7 MLN EUROS S&B Minerals posted a 76.5 percent drop in nine-month net profit to 3.7 million euros, with sales down 32 percent to 242.1 million, financial daily Kerdos reported. www.kerdos.gr GREEK Q3 GDP GROWTH SEEN AT -1.4% Y/Y Greece's economy likely contracted 1.4 percent year-on-year in the third quarter after a 0.3 percent slump in the second quarter, according to the median forecast of five economists surveyed by Reuters. GREEK FINMIN VOWS TO FIX STATISTICS, FISCAL POLICY Greece's new finance minister promised on Tuesday that the country's reporting of economic statistics would be improved and the ballooning budget deficit reined in. WIND HELLAS SUB BONDHOLDERS EYE LAWSUITS-SOURCES Junior bondholders are readying a lawsuit to challenge a restructuring deal for Greek mobile operator Wind Hellas that wipes out their investment, sources familiar with the process said.
