BOSTON, Nov 13, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- American Tower Corporation (NYSE: AMT) announced today that it has completed its previously announced redemption of the remaining $500.0 million principal amount of its 7.125% senior notes due 2012.
The Company redeemed the notes pursuant to their terms at 101.781% of the principal amount, plus accrued and unpaid interest up to, but excluding, November 13, 2009. The total aggregate redemption price was approximately $511.7 million, including approximately $2.8 million in accrued interest. The Company financed the redemption with the net proceeds from its offering of 4.625% senior notes due 2015.
