MANILA, Nov 16 (Reuters) - The Philippines' farm output grew an annual 1.55 percent in the third quarter of the year, higher than the revised 0.67 percent expansion in the second quarter, the agriculture department said on Monday. Paddy rice production grew 1.5 percent year-on-year in the third quarter to 3.519 million tonnes and corn output was up 5.17 percent to 2.37 million tonnes. The agriculture sector accounts for around a fifth of the domestic economy. The Philippines is scheduled to officially announce full third-quarter GDP data on Nov. 26.
