MOSCOW, Nov 16 (Reuters) - The Russian government is ready to contract out management of Sheremetyevo airport, Moscow's second biggest air hub, and could launch a tender as soon as next year, transport minister Igor Levitin said on Monday. "We are preparing proposals about the passing on of the management of Sheremetyevo airport next year," he said. One option would be a concession -- as with St Petersburg's Pulkovo airport -- while a second possibility would be a long-term lease, he said. Sheremetyevo served 15 million passengers last year, and this week opened a new terminal designed to handle 12 million.
