Following are the day’s biggest winners and losers. Find out why shares of Suntech Power and Whole Foods popped while Dick’s Sporting Goods and Limited Brands dropped.

POPS (stocks that jumped higher)

Suntech Power (STP) popped 6%. The solar company beat on earnings, increased its full year shipment target and gave upbeat remarks about 2010. - Shipments are expected to increase 10% in Q4, adds Pete Najarian. Giddyup!

Whole Foods (WFMI) popped 3%. BMO Capital upgraded the organic grocer to 'outperform' from 'market perform.' - Interesting, says Gary Kaminsky.

Gamestop (GME) popped 2%. Investors turned bullish on this videogame seller after the latest “Call of Duty” generated $550 million in 5 days.

DROPS (stocks that slid lower)

Dick’s Sporting Goods (DKS) dropped 9%. The sporting goods retailer forecast 4th qtr earnings below analysts’ estimates and a sales decline of as much as 6%. - There's a huge short interest in this stock, says Guy Adami, and I think they push it lower.

Limited Brands (LTD) dropped 3%. Investors booked profits after the owner of the Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body Works chains, posted a higher than expected quarterly profit on Wednesday and raised its full-year earnings view. - Interesting, says Gary Kaminsky.

Apple (AAPL) dropped 3%. Investors punished this and most other tech stocks after BofA-Merrill cut its 2010 growth outlook for the semis. - I'm long and I'm staying long, says Joe Terranova. However, if it gets below $195 then I'm a seller.

Jack In The Box (JACK) dropped 8%. Although they posted an increased in profit, investors were more focused on the company’s 2010 earnings outlook. which was disappointing. - I think it drops more, says Guy Adami.

Texas Instruments (TXN) dropped 3%. BofA downgraded this and 9 other stocks in the sector.
