Fast Money friend Regis Philbin is taking time off for a hip replacement. Philbin, 78, made the announcement Monday on his show, Live with Regis and Kelly. His surgery is scheduled for December 1.
Philbin didn't give a firm date for his return to the show, saying only, "I'll be back next year."
The show later said, "Recovery for this procedure typically is estimated to be four to six weeks, and Regis expects to return to 'Live' as soon as possible."
Not only do the Fast Money traders wish Philbin a quick and pain-free recovery, but knowing he’s an avid investor, they also came up with a trade.

There's a chance they even made Regis' hip!
