UPDATE: If You Like Dividends, You May Love These 8 Stocks

Did you see the cover of the latest Barron’s?  We’re talking about the issue with the big whopping headline "Even Better Than Bonds" -- the one that says that now may be the time to start moving into high-yielding stocks.

As Fast Money series producer John Melloy points out in his blog, that’s something Pete Najarian first told you to do on November 10th.

And after Goldman Sachs echoed Najarian's call, we wrote about it, here -- in great detail --  in a post called “If You Like Dividends: You May Love These Nine Stocks.” (In case you missed it the first time – click here .)

But don't take our word for it, or Barron's or Goldman's. The proof is in the pudding.

As the rest of market goes sideways, dividend-paying stocks are continuing their upward trend this month. The iShares Dow Jones Select Dividend ETF [DVY  Loading...      ()   ] is up more than 3 percent in December as the S&P 500 clutches to a gain just above the 1 percent mark.

So, which dividend paying stocks do the Fast Money traders have on their radar?

Guy Adami

The Negotiator suggests Verizon [VZ  Loading...      ()   ] and Johnson & Johnson [JNJ  Loading...      ()   ] .

Joe Terranova

The Liquidator recommends JPMorgan [JPM  Loading...      ()   ] .

Tim Seymour

The Ambassador prefers Duke Energy [DUK  Loading...      ()   ] , BP [BP  Loading...      ()   ] and McDonald's [MCD  Loading...      ()   ] .

Pete Najarian

The Pit Boss suggests looking at Novartis [NVS  Loading...      ()   ], Teco Energy [TE  Loading...      ()   ] and Dupont [DD  Loading...      ()   ].

*Some of the stocks listed above are picks the traders told us about ahead of the broadcast, but due to time restraints did not talk about on-air.
