Madoff Released From Medical Unit, Returns to Prison

Bernie Madoff is back in his Butner, NC, prison cell after a brief stay in the prison's medical unit, according to the Bureau of Prisons Web site.
Madoff had been transferred to the medical unit on Dec. 18, triggering widespread speculation about his health.
A Bureau of Prisons spokeswoman later confirmed the 71-year old Madoff had been suffering from dizziness and high blood pressure.
Now, Madoff is back in the Medium Security section of the Butner complex, where he is serving a 150-year prison sentence.
