Pops & Drops: Motorola, Goodyear...

Following are the day’s biggest winners and losers. Find out why shares of Motorola and Wyndham popped while the China ETF and Goodyear Tire dropped.

POPS (stocks that jumped higher)

Motorola (MOT) popped 3%. New research from the firm showed 51 per cent of shoppers in 11 countries used the mobile internet while browsing for their holiday buys. - I don't want to own this stock, says Tim Seymour.

Wyndham Worldwide (WYN) popped 9%. Deutsche upgraded the hotel titan to 'buy' from 'hold' citing the potential for economic recovery. - In the space, I'd suggest being in higher end names, says Karen Finerman.

Sears (SHLD) popped 3%. The company named a former Walmart executive as its president of retail services. - I'd move on, says Joe Terranova.

NetApp (NTAP) popped 4%. MKM Partners raised the firm to 'buy' from 'hold.' - I think it could go to $41, says Guy Adami.

Green Mountain Coffee (GMCR) popped 6%. Roth Capital initiated coverage with a ‘Buy.’

Raymond James (RJF) popped 4%. KBW upgraded the asset manager to 'market perform' from 'underperform,' citing growth opportunities in investment banking.

DROPS (stocks that slid lower)

China ETF (FXI) dropped 1%. Investors turned bearish after Google revealed hackers had launched a cyber-attack on the Gmail accounts of human-rights activists.

Goodyear Tire (GT) dropped 4%. Analysts at Citi said the tire maker's cash balance in Venezuela could drop in half after President Hugo Chavez announced a currency devaluation.
