Forget Goldman Sachs, if you’re looking for hot stocks we’ve found a brokerage that’s currently the best in the business!

According to Barron’s, if you’re looking for winners you should be listening to McAdams Wright Ragen. In the magazine’s latest stock picking contest this firm “now takes home the gold” generating the best returns over 12-months as well as 36-months.

That’s right, better than Goldman Sachs, better than Citigroup and even better than Guy Adami’s beloved Raymond James.

Considering their prowess for profits, we couldn’t wait to talk with McAdams Wright Ragen director of research Paul Latta to find out what he likes.

Here’s what he suggests:

Short Term Buys
Amazon  [AMZN  Loading...      ()   ]
Nordstrom  [JWN  Loading...      ()   ]

Long Term Buys
Verizon [VZ  Loading...      ()   ]
Pfizer  [PFE  Loading...      ()   ]

Surprised to see Amazon on the list?

Amazon has pulled back on Kindle fears but we think the death of the Kindle is largely exaggerated, says Latta. Not to mention the fact Amazon is still stealing market share from brick and mortar.

And at the close McAdams Wright Ragen added a new stock to their long term 'Buys' -- Campbell's [CPB  Loading...      ()   ].

We thought you'd want to know!
