Eike Batista is the wealthiest man in Brazil with a net worth of $7.5 billion. Batista is #61 on the Forbes Billionaires list. Maria Bartiromo will sit down with him and discuss a wide-range of topics this afternoon on Closing Bell at 440PM ET.

Batista’s company, OGX Petroleo e Gas which specializes in oil exploration went public June 2008 in one of the biggest IPOs ever in Brazil raising $3.9 billion. Earlier this month, OGX said one of the wells may hold as many as 900 million barrels of recoverable oil. So we’ll have to see if this “discovery” may help the company’s bottom-line and get his take of where oil prices are headed.

Besides oil, Batista also has had his hands in gold. At the age of 24, Batista bought his first gold mine – making a whopping $6 million in the first year. That’s a great payday at 24! We’ll ask Batista where he thinks gold and precious metal prices are headed.

Finally, here’s a bold prediction!

Batista says he will surpass Bill Gates in five years as the World’s top billionaire. We’ll find out what he has planned to achieve that goal. What a GOAL!
