On Wednesday, Cramer opened up “High Noon” telling viewers about the possible “boom” in the market.
Take the better-than-expected U.S. industrial production numbers and housing starts or Deere’s terrific earnings’ report this morning or Devon Energy’s ability to drill and find oil and natural gas at a remarkable pace.
So far, Cramer said, with about 75 percent of the most important companies reporting, booms can be seen in a number of different areas – tech, steel, auto, housing, retail, industrial, aerospace, oil, gas, copper, iron and wood.
Now, big news coming from Walgreen's today. WAG's CEO Gregory Wasson came back on the show, Cramer said, to discuss this morning’s mega $1.1 billion cash purchase of Duane Reade, the drug-store chain. Also, joining in to discuss the transaction is Duane Reade's CEO John Lederer.
