Fast Forward: Friday

Thursday, 25 Feb 2010 | 6:02 PM ET

Following are the big catalysts that the Fast Money traders expect will move the market -- or sectors of the market -- on Friday February 26th.

EURO

The News: Considering the euro tumbled to a one-year low against the yen and almost a 9-month low against the dollar on Thursday, what will Friday bring?

The Trade: I expect to see short covering, says Tim Seymour.

----

AIG EARNINGS

The News:AIG reports Q4 numbers and according to TheStreet.com three analysts expect the firm to post a quarterly loss of $3.94 per share, on average.

The Trade: With 26% short interest, I'd only approach this name with options.

----

EXISTING HOME SALES

The News: After data released earlier in the week showed new homes sales fell to their lowest level in almost 50 years, all eyes will be on existing home sales data due out Friday morning to see if the trend continues.

The Trade: And speaking of trends, I'm also watching University of Michigan Consumer Confidence data to see if that bearish Consumer Confidence report from earlier in the week was accurate or not. That should move consumer stocks , says Karen Finerman.

----

NUCLEAR ENERGY

The News: In the wake of President Obama's push for nuclear energy, top industry CEOs will make a presentation in New York City.

The Trade:Flour Corp is my nuke play, says Guy Adami.

CONSULTING THE ORACLE

The News: Friday is the final day to trade Berkshire before Warren Buffett releases his annual letter to shareholders. His letter is widely read by those seeking wisdom about investing.

The Trade: I wouldn't rush into Berk-B, says Karen Finerman. It's a long term story.
