Carolin Roth

Carolin Roth is CNBC's market reporter based in Zurich. Fluent in both German and English, she has been reporting for CNBC since 2010. She has also hosted European Closing Bell and co-anchored Squawk Box (Europe) from CNBC's London studios. Carolin also contributes to CNBC programming in the US.

Carolin has covered key events for CNBC including the European debt crisis live out of Greece, the Geneva Motor Show and the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting from Davos.

Carolin gained experience in the financial sector in Germany and the US before completing her Masters degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Zurich.
