4 More Companies To Give Money Back To Shareholders?

It’s no secret that companies are putting cash to work. But some companies are putting that money to work in a very shareholder friendly way!

Pepsi is among them.

On Monday the company was all about pop – not only the soft drink but also the action in the share price.

Investors turned bullish on this name after the company boosted its annual dividend by 7% and announced plans to buyback stock – to the tune of $15 billion.

There’s no denying -- it can be good to own stocks that have a lot of cash on the books.

And that led us to wonder who else has cash on the books? So we did a little research. Take a look at our results:

S&P 500 Cos. with Most Cash on Hand:
(Cash as a Percentage of Assets)

Automatic Data Processing 78%
Paychex 71%
Altera Corp 67%
Linear Technology 62%
VeriSign 61%
Google 61%
Analog Devices 59%
Novell 57%
Humana 56%
Celgene 56%

This just confirms our thesis that corporate America is sitting on a lot of cash. The question becomes which companies are going to put that money to work in a shareholder friendly way – like Pepsi?

Skybridge Capital Managing Partner Anthony Scaramucci thinks at least 4 companies will.

I expect Pfizer to increase dividends, Scaramucci says. I also expect the same from Exxon Mobil , Liberty Media(Starz) and Johnson & Johnson .

I think there are huge opportunities here, he tells the Fast Money desk. I expect these guys are going to get off the sidelines and give money back to shareholders.

What do you think? We want to know!
