Appearing on CNBC’s Power Lunch, Lewis says the more people learn about what really happened, the angrier they will be.

In an extended series of interviews Lewis talks in detail about what led up to the crisis, why Wall Street is still broken, the Goldman bubble, AIG’s "insane acts" and more.

In the second part of the interview with Michael Lewis author of the new book, The Big Short Inside the Doomsday Machine,’he talks about his experiences as a young bond salesman at Salomon Brothers during the 80's.

He made his story famous in his semi-autobiographical bestseller Liar's Poker.

One of the figures key to the story and to the firm is John Gutfreund, the then-CEO of the company.

Now 25 years later in this televised interview the two men meet for the first time and talk about the problems that still exist on Wall Street.

Michael Lewis author of the new book, 'The Big Short Inside the Doomsday Machine,’ is known as one of the nation’s most gifted story tellers whether it be about the world of finances or the world of sports.

His 2006 book, The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game is the story of a young man who rises from an impoverished background and achieves his dream of being a pro football player.

The book was turned into a movie and was nominated this year at the Academy Awards for Best Picture. Sandra Bullock won the best actress award for her role in the movie.

In this interview Lewis is joined by Sean Tuohy the real-life dad portrayed in the book.
