Managing your finances can be a full-time job and most of us already have busy day jobs. But it’s important not to put your financial plans on the back burner. Setting up a long-term plan may help you reach your financial goal.

Don’t be intimated by all the numbers and paper!

April is financial literacy month. NYSE Euronext is also trying to help educate consumers about money. The web site NYSEMoneySense.comoffers tools to help you better manage your finances and learn more about your investments.

NYSE Euronext chief Duncan Niederauer said their site “offers high-quality, trusted information on personal finance and money management for consumers and employees of our listed companies.” The Financial Literacy Advisory Committee will also work with NYSE Euronext to form programs to help educate the public.

Check out Maria Bartiromo’sinterview with Duncan Niederauer this afternoon at 4:15PM ET on the Closing Bell.
