DELL: OUT MAN OUT?

Now that H-P has scooped up Palm,it suddenly looks like Dell is the only major player lacking access to the booming mobile market.

What must you know?

I think we start to see more devices come to market from Dell, says UBS analyst Maynard Um. Clearly they have global scale and global distribution in retail. But the operator channel is something completely different. That’s the big question mark.

If you’re looking for a trade, I’d look at RIM says Gary Kaminsky. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Microsoft acquire RIM.

I don’t think either Microsoft or RIM would be interested in a deal, counters Um.

For me the trade is long H-P , says Guy Adami.
