Think you share the road with some bad drivers? As it turns out, some cities around the US have roads that are far more dangerous than others. Recently, Insurance.comconducted an analysis of the cities that have the highest proportion of its residents claiming a prior accident when searching for an auto insurance quote. The rankings are based on the information people must supply in seeking an insurance quote. Getting into even a small accident can result in increased insurance premiums. Insurance.com CEO Rob Klapper reminds drivers to "avoid driver distractions and obey traffic laws" both to increase safety and keep down premiums. The country's safest city is Yuma, Arizona, with only 17.2% of drivers claiming prior accidents. Big cities like Los Angeles and Chicago were also on the lower end of the spectrum, with 26.3% and 26.1%, respectively. So, what are the most dangerous US cities for drivers? Click ahead to find out!
