Hedgie Hide-Out Stock

Tuesday, 18 May 2010 | 5:41 PM ET

Anthony Scaramucci of Skybridge tells us hedge funds are currently turning to this name for safety amid the volatility.

And that name is Anheuser-Busch Inbev

Here's why:

-Stable Blue Chip Stock

-Beer = Affordable Luxury

-Profitable Business, Margin Growth

-Top Notch Management

-Cheap Valuation

It’s a Whitney Tilson favorite, says Scaramucci. It’s cheap with a low multiple. And I expect the company to see major cost savings and synergies. Also, it’s an affordable luxury.

But the number one reason to own this stock is the management, he adds. These guys are known to squeeze savings out. And that’s probably the main reason why all the value hedge funds like this name.

This Bud's For You
A look at the hedge fund trade of the week, with Anthony Scaramucci, Skybridge Capital founder.
