Bolten was White House Chief of Staff under President George W. Bush from 2006 to 2009 and Deputy Chief of Staff from 2001 to 2003. He also served under George Bush Sr. as General Counsel to the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR). At present, Bolten serves as Co-Chair of the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund & is a visiting professor at Princeton University.
