Today the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission listed Buffett among the scheduled witnesses for its next public hearing, "Credibility of Credit Ratings, the Investment Decisions Made Based on those ratings, and the Financial Crisis."
That session is scheduled for next Wednesday, June 2 at New York City's New School.
Buffett will appear with Moody's Chairman and CEO Raymond McDaniel. All of the day's other witnesses are with Moody's Investors Service.
Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway is Moody's largest shareholder, with a stake of 13 percent. Berkshire has, however, been reducing its holdings over the past year.
