In the wake of the gulf oil spill, has the long US energy trade run out of gas?

Richard Kang of Emerging Global Advisors sure thinks so. He expects lawmakers to crack down on big oil much like they’re cracking down on Wall Street.

What does that mean for investors?

Rather than trade in and around US companies, Kang suggests looking for opportunities elsewhere – such as emerging markets.
