No bids yet in this year's charity auction of a Power Lunch for 8 with Warren Buffett.

Just over 12 hours into the 5-day EBay auction, no one has made the starting minimum bid of $25,000.

It's just a matter of time, despite Buffett's recent bad press.

Last year's auction was won by Canada's Salida Capital with a bid of $1,680,300. The year before it took $2.1 million to win lunch with Warren.

This year's auction ends this coming Friday evening at exactly 10:30:35 ET. Only pre-qualified buyers may take part.

The entire purchase price goes to San Francisco's Glide Foundation, a nonprofit with a mission to "break the cycles of multi-generational dependency, poverty, and low self-worth by providing a spiritual home of unconditional love."

Buffett will host the lunch for eight at New York's Smith & Wollensky restaurant, answering almost any and all questions posed to him.

His guests, however, will need to pay for their own travel and accommodations.
