Investors breathed a sigh of relief after a much anticipated IPO delivered on its promise. Shares of CBOE jumped higher in the stock's first day of trade.

Fears that investors would push back against the IPO price proved to be unfounded.

In fact, it was an impressive show of strength, especially since the IPO market hasn’t been less than robust in recent weeks.

Many investors took the action as a sign the exchange business stands to benefit substantially in the wake of financial regulation.

And we’re not just talking the CBOE, but all the exchanges.

What should you expect?

For insights we turned to the boss at another Chicago exchange, CME chief Terry Duffy.

He tells us, "CME exchange volume is up 23.6% year over year. Anywhere from 41% in certain products to 140% in currency trading."

What else must you now about the CME? Watch the video now!
