Web Only: Insights From Ford’s Mark Fields

GM and Chrysler’s pain has sure been Ford’s gain. The car maker again just made new advances in the market.

Ford has broken into an area typically dominated by foreign car makers; it’s now ranked among the top 10 brands named by J.D. Power and Associates for quality.

The survey measures the number of problems per 100 vehicles produced in 2010 as reported by vehicle owners and Ford ranked #5.

It's quite an achievement; one that underscores how rapidly Ford is turning around.
