Shares of Genzyme hit a 52-week high Thursday after it was reported that Sanofi-Aventis could offer up to $20 billion to acquire the Cambridge, Mass.-based company.

Shortly thereafter, Lazard Capital downgraded GENZ shares from 'buy' to 'hold', reports host Melissa Lee. The group said there was limited upside and if there is no take-over, the downside risk could take the share price down to the low $50 range.

Topping the Tape
Going through some of the biggest movers of the day.

"If you're in this ride and you got a 35%, then 42% pop in only four sessions, I think only a fool hangs on for that last mile because it's going to be a rocky ride," says Jon Najarian of optionMONSTER.com.

A biotechnology exchange-traded fund, like SPDR S&P Biotech , the might be a good way to play the possible take-over, says Brian Kelly of Kanundrum Capital. Steve Grasso of Stuart Frankel agreed with Kelly, calling it a safe way to play with possible acqusition without "sticking your neck out."

Karen Finerman of Metropolitan Capital Advisors likes the ETFs, including the XBI and iShares Nasdaq Biotechnology .

TOPPING THE TAPE: CITRIX SYSTEMS

Following better-than-expected revenue, full-year guidance boost and several brokerage upgrades, shares of Citrix Systems rallied more than 20% Thursday.

Brian Kelly of Kanundrum Capital is bullish on the Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based company because he likes its cloud computing products. In addition to the cloud, Jon Najarian of optionMONSTER.com likes its GoToMeeting, an online space for business meetings and sales demonstrations.
