Paul Hanrahan, CEO of The AES Corp.

Since Paul Hanrahan became CEO of The AES Corp, shares have climbed 108% where the S&P 500 increased by just 8% over the same period, Cramer noted.

"But its recent performance stinks: Down 21% year-to-date and down 30% over the last two years," Cramer said. "Hanrahan seems like a good candidate, but on the other hand, the whole power generation industry has done badly lately."
