Why a Pony? To be clear, there were no ponies harmed in the making of this blog. The blog’s name, “There Must Be a Pony In Here Somewhere,” comes from an old joke, a favorite of Ronald Reagan’s, that essentially means, with a pile of you-know-what this big, there MUST be a pony—a bright side—in here somewhere!

Girl Who Quit Via White Board—Yeah, That Was a Hoax

In addition to the Jet Blue flight attendant that went out with a slide down the emergency chute, the Internet was all abuzz yesterday with a story about "Jenny," a Wall Street assistant who apparently quit via white board.

'Jenny,' aka Elyse Porterfield, has a new message for her fans

Like the Jet Blue guy, “Jenny” really struck a cord with disgruntled workers the Internet over. In a series of photographed messages on white board that she allegedly mailed to several dozen colleagues, Jenny quit.

She called her boss out for spending nearly 20 hours of week playing Farmville and for calling her a HOPA (hot piece of a--).

For those of you who called it, here's your I-told-you-so moment — it was a hoax.

In a new post on the same site, thechive.com (which, incidentally is known for its hoaxes), “Jenny” delivers the message that it was a hoax by — you guessed it — white board.

The stunt, which got over a million page views, was created by brothers John and Leo Resig, the same guys who did the Donald Trump leaves $10,000 tip and other hoaxes.

Jenny’s real name is Elyse Porterfield, and she’s a 22-year-old actress who recently moved to L.A. from Colorado. She got the job by responding to an ad calling for a girl-next-door type actress on the site actoractress.com.

In case you were wondering, yes she's in on the whole Playboy thing.

The brothers Resig nebulously promise that you’ll be seeing more of Jenny: “You’ll see in the coming days she’s as smart as she is sexy,” they write in the it's-a-hoax post on theChive.

You may be seeing more of her than you bargained for – There’s already a Facebook page titled “1,000,000 Strong for Jenny DryErase to Pose in Playboy” that has over 500 people who “like this.”

Yeah, things move really fast on this series of tubes.
