The Pitch: Big Lots

As they say on TV, it’s the cold-calling segment that's sweeping the nation; one trader, one stock, and 30 seconds to make the case.

Patty Edwards, principal at Storehouse Partners, made a pitch for Big Lots on Thursday's "Fast Money."

As we've heard from Guess? and J. Crew Group , the high-end is "not entirely solid," said Edwards. There is excess retail inventory coming into the ports.

With BIG, it has guided down and that's already been reflected, Edwards said. It's trading at only 10 times earnings. At $30, she sees upside to $35.

Edwards said the consumer is trending down, so BIG is a great stock and she would buy it over Family Dollar or Dollar Tree .
