Options Action: Money for Nothing

Corporate America is getting 'money for nothing,' as it issues debt at record low interest rates.

From IBM to Xcel Energy , all kinds of companies hawking bonds at rock-bottom rates. With jittery investors looking to part growing piles of cash, it seems the party won't end any time soon.

For Thursday's Options Action, Brian Stutland of Stutland Equities wants to trade this trend. Stutland likes looking into the corporate bond market, especially trading options that are longer-dated. With corporate bonds trading at roughly 3.1% on a 10-Year, he thinks companies will have an easier time with their debt. He is going to use options to play this trend and is using General Electric to illustrate the possibilities.
