Well, this picture pretty much says it all. It's a shot taken by CNBC sports business producer Tom Rotunno in the player parking lot at The Barclays.

Furyk's agent told CNBC that the power charger on his iPhone fell out of the wall and the phone, where Furyk's only alarm was set, died. The golfer eventually woke up and missed getting to his hole by a few minutes.
Since this is the first event in the FedEx Cup playoffs and Furyk currently stands at No. 3 in the standings, not being here this week hurts and will likely cost him about five spots in the rankings.
