Here's what's up on Thursday's Squawk on the Street:

--We'll hear from Fed Chief Ben Bernanke as he's questioned before the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission. We're hoping he'll shed some light on what the Fed's learned from the meltdown and what's being done to prevent another one.

--We're also getting jobless claims at 8:30 a.m., and traders will have their first chance to react after the bell rings at 9:30 a.m.

--And it's retail sales day. We're watching all the big names including Wal-Mart, Target, Gap, Costco, BJ's Wholesale, Kohl's, Abercrombie & Fitch and beyond.

--And in our Street Poll: do you think Chairman Bernanke is to blame for the big meltdown? Share your opinion, and watch Squawk on the Street at 9 a.m. ET sharp, only on CNBC.
