Web Extra: Burned by Broadcom

A long position in Broadcom looked like a hot trade but all it did was burn.

Sadly, the Liquidator made this fateful call on July 27th. "When you talk about large cap growth in technology, this is one of the best names to be in," he said. "They have great exposure to tablets and to mobile devices. I still thinks this goes above $40."

They say 40 is the new 30 and since Terranova bet the stock would climb to $40 it slipped about $8 dollars - not quite to $30 but close.
