The Pitch: Airgas

As they say on TV, it’s the cold-calling segment that's sweeping the nation; one trader, one stock and 30 seconds to make the case.

Karen Finerman, president of Metropolitan Capital Advisors, made a pitch for Airgas on Thursday's "Fast Money."

"It's a high risk, high reward, risk-arb play," Finerman said of the Radnor, Pa.-based company.

Airgas is being pursued by Air Products & Chemicals , she said. APD is trying to win a vote next week, she said, so they can get three seats on the board and change next year's annual meeting to January to force Airgas to put themselves up for sale.

However, rather than buy stocks, Finerman only recommends playing Airgas with options to limit downside exposure.

She likes the AirgasOct. 65 calls at 2.60. If APD wins, Finerman thinks Airgas' stock will go to the high $60 range. However, if they lose, you will lose all of your money in those options.
