TRADES THAT SHOULD THRIVE AS DOLLAR DIVES

It seems central banks around the world are in a race to debase their currencies hoping to export their way out of economic doldrums.

The dollar dropped Tuesday on expectations the Fed was more likely to enact QE2 after Europe called for a yuan revaluation, Japan lowered its interest rates, and Brazil doubled taxes on money going into fixed-income.

So which trades thrive as the dollar dives?

I’d play overseas oil producers such as Total, Royal Dutch Shell and Petrobras, says Tim Seymour.

I like AES Corp, says Guy Adami. Valuations are fair and 75% of revenues come from overseas.

I’m a buyer Nike, says Joe Terranova. And overall I think tech wins with 60% of revenue derived from overseas.

I’d get long some of European banks such as Banco Santander, says Brian Kelly, and maybe look at Aflac .
