Here's what's up on Thursday's Squawk on the Street:

--Earnings from Pepsi were in line with estimates, and we're watching the stock. We're also doing something pretty obvious... but worthwhile nevertheless, we're comparing it to Coca-Cola. Call it an investor's taste test.

--Also this morning, we've found a trend in some industrials off the beaten path. See what Cummins, WW Grainger and PPG Industries are showing us about the next level for the markets.

--Plus, retailers are reporting chain stores this morning. On our watchlist: Wal-Mart, JC Penney, Gap, Ann Taylor, Macy's and beyond.

Our Street Poll asks if you've made changes to your investing strategy due to the last ten years of flatness for the markets? Share your opinion and watch Squawk on the Street, starting at 9 a.m. ET sharp.
