SHORT TRADE

If you're looking for a short trade Karen Finerman thinks she's onto something. The Chairwoman says if shares of Barnes and Noble pop in the wake of strong reviews for its latest iteration of the Nook e-reader, those gains present a short opportunity.

Barnes & Noble Nook a No?
Karen Finerman explains why Barnes & Noble is not a good device maker.

"I looked at the Nook and it looks like a decent product, however it doesn't solve the main problem going on at B&N - that it's a brick & mortar business in an industry that's becoming Internet based. And I think for them to make the transformation into a technology device company is nearly impossible. If it trades up I'd look to short."
