Pops & Drops: Advanced Micro, Molycorp...

Following are moves you might have missed. Find out why shares of Advanced Micro and Molycorp popped while Mosaic dropped.

POPS (stocks that jumped higher)

Advanced Micro (AMD) popped 4%. The company introduced a new line of power-efficient chips that Gleacher said had triggered excitement at an annual industry show. - I'm a seller, says Tim Seymour.

Stock Pops & Drops
The Fast Money traders take a look at today's biggest market movers.

Molycorp (MCP) popped 6%. Published reports suggested the company may double its planned production to help meet global demand after China cut export quotas. - I would not buy it here, counsels Brian Kelly.

MetroPCS (PCS) popped 6%. Deutsche Bank reiterated its "Buy" rating on the stock and increased its price target to $20 citing channel checks that showed positive results. - If you were fortunate enough to be in this stock I'd take profits, says Josh Brown.

Amgen (AMGN) popped 3%. BofA upgraded shares of the company from an “Underperform” rating to a “Neutral” rating with a price target of $59. - I would not get long, counsels Karen Finerman.

DROPS (stocks that slid lower)

Mosaic (MOS) dropped 3%. Gleacher downgraded the stock to "Neutral" from "Buy" citing valuations with the stock “near the firm’s $80 price target." - In the space I like Potash, says Joe Terranova.
