Is Schlumberger About to Break Out?

Cramer goes off the charts to give you the 411 on the energy sector.

One of Cramer’s favorite themes for 2011? Energy. Whether it’s demand from the developing world to fuel its growth (see: China) or from the developed world as the West’s economies rebound (see: USA), countries are consuming vast quantities of the stuff and that demand is only going to grow going forward.

Cramer on Tuesday said he’d dedicate the entire week to this theme, highlighting the integrated oils, refiners, high-yielding master limited partnerships, explorers and producers and drillers that top their respective industries. But first he started with the oil-service names, specifically, Schlumberger , whose chart is pointing to a big, upcoming breakout in stock price.

But do Cramer’s favored fundamentals say the same thing? He answered that question for viewers during this week’s “Off the Charts.” Watch the video to see his full report.
