The winter of 2010-11 has seen its fair share of winter storms, which have crippled transportation and metropolitan infrastructure, causing significant economic impact.
The most recent storm has affected an estimated 100 million Americans, dumping snow, ice and freezing rain from Texas to New England. As people dig out and cope with the weather, it's unclear how significant the damage from the storm will be.
