Amelia Bourdeau is a Director, Foreign Exchange Sales at UniCredit AG based in New York City. Prior to joining UniCredit, Bourdeau was a Director of FX at Westpac Institutional Bank. Before that, Bourdeau worked as the Senior G10 FX Strategist at UBS AG. Bourdeau also has buy-side experience having worked both for a global macro hedge fund and a Pan-Asia macro hedge fund as its Head of Macro Strategy. She has held multiple positions at Deutsche Bank as a US Economist, Head of Canada Economic Research, and Vice President, Global Markets. Bourdeau started her career as a Research Assistant at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington DC.
Bourdeau has been a featured speaker at FX conferences and has participated in various professional FX meetings around the world.
Bourdeau graduated from Amherst College with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science magna cum laude.
